We left Thursday the 2nd for SLC. We met Chara and Kati at the Clark Planetarium and watched their 3D Bug movie. It was our first 3D movie, kind of neat, would like to see something else besides "bugs". After that we went to dinner at the Mayan. It's been awhile since we had been there, the kids really liked watching the cliff divers, they put on a pretty good show. Then we went back to the motel. Friday morning Trent and I got up early to go do a session at the SL temple. That was really neat, would love to go the the Manti Temple now. We traveled to Provo (Kati had a job interview) had lunch and did a little shopping then we went to Cowabunga Bay. We all had a blast. The slides are geared more for families, no extreme free fall slides, great place to take your family and hang out. We went home that day and then on the 4th I sent Shay off on her 2 week trip to Palmyra with her grandma V and cousin Shelby. It's been 5 days and I think she's getting home sick. Chelli and Korven have both cried because they miss her. Korven even had me circle the day she would be back and then he crosses off the days, he needed a visual reminder he could look at. I didn't know they loved each other :)till now. Yesterday Shay got to do Baptisms at the Palmyra temple, today they are visiting the Sacred Grove and seeing the pageant. I hope she can remember all that she is seeing and be able to relate to these things later in her life. It will be a good trip if she can make it without getting too home sick.
So anyways, later that day (on the 4th) we went to the pow-wow and then to our neighbors to light fireworks. We usually do the kids rodeo in Neola, but there is getting to be so many people that go to it now that it's starting to take the fun out of it. It was nice to do something different this year.
